
Meeting Information
The Community Mending Circle meets every third Tuesday of the month at Mary Riley Styles Public Library in Falls Church, VA.
The group will meet February 17, March 17, April 21, May 19 and June 16, 2026. Future meetings will be posted as the library reservations are made.

Who Can Attend?

This event is for adults, or youth 10+ with an accompanying adult.
Anyone is welcome to attend: people with mending expertise, people who need things mended and want to learn new skills, people who would like to socialize in a productive and quiet(ish) environment, people seeking community connection with a circle of menders.
Guidelines

What will be provided?
- Tables and Chairs
- Basic mending supplies: scissors, needle, thread, embroidery floss, fabric scraps, glue

What should you bring?
- A project (hemming, worn or damaged clothing, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, darning, felting, etc.)
- Supplies you would need to complete your project
